Look Who Is Voting
presente.org -- One factor will determine the outcome
on Nov. 2: Who votes. That's why Presente.org and
ColorOfChange.org teamed up to make this video,
reminding us of all the people who will be going to the
polls on Tuesday -- and why you should be one of them.

Playing For Change: Imidiwan Afrik Tendam
From Glastonbury, England, where the Playing For Change
Band performed in the Summer of 2009. The band was
joined by Tinariwen, Vusi Mahlasela and the Omagh
Community Youth Choir for a beautiful version of
Tinariwen's Song "Imidiwan Afrik Tendam," which means
"companions." It often seems as if only music can bring
together such diverse groups of people to share in the
collective power of our human race.
Portside aims to provide material of interest to people
on the left that will help them to interpret the world
and to change it.
