Subject: Today is May Day!

Friends,

Some people celebrate Christmas or Passover or Ramadan or
Kwanzaa. Let's add today May Day which in one form or
another pre-dates them all. If you're so minded try to wear
something red. And give a thought to the mainly young Occupy
people who are getting arrested, for us, all over the place.

Solidarity, Clancy

Re: May Day Declaration 2012 - Wealth belongs to those who
produce it.

Right on.
Ras Moshe

Subject: reaction to Grossman, Pirates or Privateers?

It is clear that these noncommittal young people are Pirates,
stealing the left's thunder and votes all the while refusing
to take a single leftwing position. They are the Democrats
of the US in the 1920s and 1930s, keeping the world safe for
capitalism. I say, make the Pirates walk the gangplank.

Subject: ethnic studies "truth"...

truth, however defined subjectively, is not limited to a
specific course in school...mathematics? sociology? botany?
there is no reason at all to limit knowledge of marx, chavez
ghandi or roosevelt to a specific politically acceptable
course than there is to segregate human beings by race, sex
or ethnicity...we need to end this stupid division ploy of
the 1% and start acting like a group of humans who belong to
the one and only race - human - and then study and learn
about or origins and history without limiting that study to
a specific, narrow, bigoted and limiting alleged discipline
which does nothing but serve to keep us divided...

appears in print in The Independent Monitor and online at
Mathaba and the blog Legalienate]
